but you don't need a SSD for photoscenery, even an external usb 2.0 hard disk drive does it nicely.

USB 2.0 speed is 480 MB/s (60 Mo/s) so it is more than necessary.

 

When I bought Simsavy the scenery was provided on  an USB 2.0 external drive and I have not experienced blurries.

 

By the way Simsavvy was my best  FSX bargain ever. Being one of the first customers, thanks to the free upgrades,  I got the entire US for about 200 $. I am glad I trusted Larry right from the start of his outstanding venture.

 

Your gorgeous shots are a testimony to Larry's great job.  I really enjoy his textures, they are so immersive.
