November 19, 201312 yr Wow that looks great, and as an "in the cockpit flyer" myself, I like the fact that all of the focus and emphasis is on the interior, systems and procedures. Will be following this one, thanks.
November 19, 201312 yr Author Yes,it's looking great but this video is released 1 year ago, I hope this project will come to life, we all know how many developers have eat the dust! November 20, 201312 yr Hardy is still programming. It's in beta right now. Don't expect it to be cheap though. PS1 was nearly $500, but worth every penny (the only high fidelity 744 simulator at the time). He's a one man show, so it takes time. He was never going to do a follow up to PS1, but I guess he changed his mind. PSX will be better and more immersive...to the point that every electrical circuit in the 747 is modelled. November 20, 201312 yr I bought PS1 when it first came out and it was a great sim even though it was DOS based. I can assure you I didn't pay anywhere near $500. Billy Bluestar I Earned My Spurs in Vietnam
November 20, 201312 yr So did I. My receipt from Aerowinx, sept 1997, shows £194.95, which worked out to about $400 CDN, and $35 shipping. Like I said, close to $500! With that I got my DOS CD-ROM and a 500-600 page manual (still have it!). Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Devin CYOW
November 20, 201312 yr Me too...still have the complete box. And do remember? the protection scheme asked you to enter the x word on the y line of the z page of the manual? Jean-Jacques Jean-Jacques Struyf between EBBR and EBCI
November 20, 201312 yr Me too...still have the complete box. And do remember? the protection scheme asked you to enter the x word on the y line of the z page of the manual? Jean-Jacques Yep! And Mel Ott's great story of flying the inaugural Northwest Airlines flight of the 744. Hardy has released that story on the aerowinx forum for the public.
