November 21, 201312 yr Hi Everyone I have just put a fresh FSX install onto my PC but having difficulties assigning axis to my Saitek Toe Brakes. It seems that when they get pressed they are activating the axis for the elevator and ailerons. Press the left toe brake and it is showing up as the x axis and press the right toe brake and it triggers the elevator axis obviously screwing things up badly. I did what I thought was a total clean of my system including formatting the drive fsx was installed on prior to the reinstall. I have tried deleting the newly installed FSUIPC and reinstalling - al to no avail. Is anyone aware of any other places FSUIPC has information tucked away apart from the modules folder in FSX? Is there a registry entry somewhere that is screwed up? If so where would I find it? Can somebody offer please offer some advice? Many thanks Barra Regards Barra i7 7700K, 16GB 3200MHz DDR4, GTX1070 OC 8GB, 1TB Samsung SSD for OS and P3D4.4, W10 64Bit, Corsair H115i Water Cooling
November 21, 201312 yr Hi Barra This isnt an FSUIPC problem, mine does that too on EVERY fresh install of FSX, so you can just delete the assignments within FSX and re-assign the toe brakes and it should then be fine :-) Richard... Amateur Pilot and UK Web Hosting Guru 🙂
November 21, 201312 yr It's OK I sorted Barra out at the FSUIPC support forum, problem solved. Cheers, Andy.
November 22, 201312 yr Author Thank you RCITGuy As Andy mentioned, he helped me out - it was a misunderstanding where there is a drop down menu for the yoke and then the rudders. I thought the computer saw it all as 1 unit. All sorted and thanks again anyway.
