November 4, 201411 yr This is a follow-up posting. I am very happy to report that I have not had a single FSX CTD event after 6 FSX sessions. I am pretty sure that uninstalling KB2670938 has fixed this particular bug. Thanks very much Paul. I don't think I ever would have found this out without help. Its pretty much a solution for everything in FSX, except the fact that the game is 100 years old. Brynjar Mauseth
June 2, 201511 yr I uninstalled KB2670838, restarted my PC, then ran it again and it lasted 20 minutes longer, then I again got the same error. I'm running FSX Steam, never had this problem running the DVD version. June 2, 201511 yr The fix for this topic is quite old and is likely no longer applicable. Please check out the AVSIM CTD Guide for suggestions and probable solutions. A crash report (in a new topic) would be helpful. Best regards, Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource!
