November 26, 201312 yr In May I went to Wichita Avsim conference where our glorious leader Robert was the key speaker, then I got the stupid bright idea I would shoot down to Amsterdam for the World's largest flight sim conference last week or so . Man- our hobby is now big business and there's some serious sims out there . You'll see a shot of Steve Cos , he was the only Canadian company there with flight Deck Solutions . The guy shares pictures from a flight sim conference and you pick apart one tiny piece of what he wrote? Grow up. AJ Pongress

November 27, 201312 yr Hello Louis, Unbeleaveble that a man comes from Canada to Lelystad Airport (EHLE , not EHAM) to visit our exhibition of which we, Dutch simmers are proud of. You may also have noticed the Connie and DC2 in KLM-coulours (among many other aircraft exhibitioned there). Our small country has a big tradition flying in the air (KLM is oldest airline - remember Fokker etc.) If you are interested, there is also a Military Aircraft Museum you should visit when you are in the Netherlands. Thanks for coming anyway, we need that because such an exhibition is not cheap. All the best, Ben Ben Rikken, The Netherlands
November 27, 201312 yr thank you for sharing these pictures. I have forgotten to visit this event this year. I am still amazed to notice a certain unwritten rule here: It seems that the more time and energy simmers put into building hardware cockpits in front of the actual sim on the screen, the less time and energy they spend on building up the quality of the actual sim on the screen they're looking at. I have tried out an almost real 1 to 1 hardware 737-cockpit on the same event in 2012while looking at a screen with only FS2004 with default scenery only, meaning airfields without buildings, no wheather program etc..
