  1. When you could give me your emailadress I will sent you a picture from my desktopsolution. Regards, Ben
  2. Lancair V2 installed; made a short trip from Innsbruck to Friedrichshafen also to test the new gauges lighting. Forgot the O2; pilot had difficult times. Aircraft flies like a dream - as the Dukes V2 do allready. Many thanks Rob and friends. Small question for RealAir : Are here som intentions to bring the Spitfire to the same level (interior and exterior) as the Lancair ? Would be wonderful. Another question to the COMMUNITY : Would you like to see the Spitfire in updated in- and exterior ? Cheers, Ben Rikken
  3. Hello Michael, +1 here Still using gladly W7 - Never problems with FSX (ASN-PMDG-A2A-RealAir). And : never change a winning horse, they say. Cheers, Ben Rikken
  4. Hello Moe, I had the same problem when my graphics card had disfunctions. When this is the case, you can action a lot with uninstalling and reinstalling etc., but you won't solve the problem. My advise is : ask your reseller or a good friend to try a used but good functioning graphics card and see if the problem accures. When not, you solved it; in the other situation you will have probably work to do in try and error as described above. Good luck, Ben
  5. Hello Ray, It is problematic for me sending you a picture. When I copy and paste the URL link in the green box than the whole age freezes and I have to restart the AVSIM page. I am sorry but I quit for tounight. Ben
  6. Hello Ray, Thanks for your instructions but I can not copy the link. When I click on the green image box and I paste the URL-link, the program does not react any more. I am sorry but I will stop for today. Cheers, Ben
  7. Hello Ray, I solved the problem and will be delighted to show it in a picture of my small flightdeck. The only problem is that I don't know to enclose this picture in my reply. I found the green image-knob after that I was asked for he URL; I do no know where I can find the URL belonging to my picture. I would be glad if you could help me on the way. Cheers, Ben
  8. Hello ozflyer, Sure you can, but you could try to maximise your RAM to 8 GB. Cheers, Ben
  9. Marko, I use ASN, PFPX, TOPCAT ; that does it for me. And I am also a great fan of RealAir products (Dukes f.i.) Cheers, Ben
  10. Hello Klaus, I knew the problem - installed a new graphics card and no problems any more. It has imho to do with the workload that is too heavy for the graphics. You could try to maximise FPS at 30 ; tweak your graphics (sliders to the left as much as possible) ; and be careful with demanding airports (for instance Aerosoft EHAM). My PC Intel i7-3770 3,4 GHz , Nvidia Geforce GTX 650. Good luck. Ben
  11. Very nice repaint, Ron. It's now ready for departure at a hazy PAPG. Thanks, Ben
  12. Hello Ryan, I have only FSX installed and the program works fantastic even with all the hardware (CP-Flight, Saitek, CH) The only problem gives A2A C172,C182,Cherokee. Here I see double digits on the radio's in VC and I can't solve this problem. (I use a double Saitek radio panel). So with Intel Core i7-3770 CPU at 3,40 GHZ and NVidia GTX650 with 8 GB RAM and ASN installed I reach very easy at EHAM with B737 and B777 from PMDG 25fps. More easy planes, for instance RealAir Turbine Duke in Alaska about 50fps. So personally I have no reason changing to another Simulation program. I now locked the simulation at 30 fps. Three green, Ben
  13. Hello Mike, You could also try this : redestinate in FS the Mix 1 and 2 levers to : no function ; that will do. (btw : I had exactly the same problem !) Cheers, Ben
  14. Hello, +1; Richard is right. Looking at the price, Saitek panels are a good choise. I use for AP the CP-Flight MCP. Saitek Radiopanels and Switch Panel are excellent for the RealAir Birds. If I had your E-Mail account I could sent you a picture of my cockpit to give you another idea. Cheers, Ben Rikken
  15. Hello Jarad, When you have situated the ASN icon in the taskbar on the desktop try to move it to the desktop itself and double-click. Otherwise, move it to the taskbar and click. If no results, go to c:\Program Files (x86)ASNext_FSX and copy file ASNext.exe to desktop. It all is worth the try. Succes, Ben
  16. +1 ; You could also try a reinstall; I am almost sure the light textures will be there then. Cheers, Ben
  17. Hello Tony, I recognize the problem and solved it by follow up the instructions in this case by Saitek Admin. First of all : make a backup of your Registry ! Unplug the yoke. Go to Start/Run and type regedit. The registry editor will have a list of folders on the left hand side. Go down into the following folders in order. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE System CurrentControlSet Control Media Properties Private Properties Direct Input Inside the Direct Input folder, Delete any folder that begins with VID_06A3. Once done, close the editor. Plug the yoke back in and move alle the axis (including throttle) through their full range of movement 4 times. Now go to control panel/game controllers/properties to see if everything is ok on the test screen. Çheers, Ben
  18. Hello Vernon, If you are using Saitek throttles the reason for the probleme are most likely the potentiometers. Perhaps they have been dirty or worn out. In my experience there is only one thing to do if there is no guarantee left : buy new ones (preferably of a better quality like PFC). Cheers, Ben
  19. Hello Tweedy, If FSX works, then there must be an FSX.cfg . This file is per default 'hidden' so you have to unhide the files to see it. My advise : before deleting such an important file, be sure you did make a backup. Succes, Ben
  20. Hello Paladin, I would suggest to give a try on internet - you will see hundreds of tips. The VR-Insight stuff isn't easy to install. I once bought the combo and changed it for CP-Flight MCP+EFIS and 2 Saitek radios. Not cheap but works excellent. Cheers, Ben
  21. Hello Jim, Try Precision Flight Controls; I will buy them after Saitek. Cheers, Ben
  22. Hello Mark, Thanks for your very useful comment; I will get in contact with almostaviation. Ben
  23. A2A doesn't work with Saitek switch panel. Also IMHO are A2A products too realistic . Once I had a introduction lesson for a C172. I had much less problems with the real one (though I was fully unexpirienced) than before with the A2A AccuSimCreation. That is why I don't fly with A2A's newest ones any more. After very much struggle I learned flying with the A2A P51 Mustang. Now I don't want to hate an aircraft in simulation anymore. Please don't misunderstand me : there is nothing wrong with the fine airplanes from A2A; it is purely personal. Therefore I fly with every RealAir simulation. They all work excellent with Saitek's Switch, Radio and Trim Modules. Yesterday I downloaded the Just Fly's Fokker F27 - and just guess : everything works. There is one exception : The START-knob doesn't work with turbines - there is another start-routine of course. Cheers, Ben
  24. Living in The Netherlands, I bought all my Saitek gear at Aviation Mega Store not knowing in which was the country of production. I connected Throttle Quadrant 1 into DIN-plug and Throttle Quadrant 2 into USB-plug situated in the Saitek Yoke. However, two Saitek Radio panels, Switch Panel and Trimwheel and the CP-Flight MCP and Efis I plugged into one powered HUB. All work perfect now for several years. For well functioning of the trimwheel I have to turn it till I heard a 'dong' and see the trim wheel in FSX-panel moving. After that it will work fine. Hope I could help you with this information Ben
  25. Dear Tom, I don't know you personally, I only am aware of your magnificent work for the flightsimulator society. With great sorrow I reed your message concerning your health. At this point I can only whish you good times together with your beloved ones for the time still resting you.
