Stuck on Old Flightsim Menu Key Commands

Featured Replies

Perhaps the one menu key combo that my fingers get stuck on most is (Alt + A) then A to search your available aircraft which has been with FS for as long as there has been aircraft to pick from. This option is no longer there and it will take some repetition to get used to (Alt +E) then V to open the Vehicle menus. Is anyone else hitting other key options that have changed with P3D?

Keith,

I don't have P3D yet but can't you simply change the key combination to something else provided the keys are available? As you probably know, this is easily done in FSX. I have deleted all keys assigned to FSX events that I know I'll never use which provides lots of flexibility for key assignments and I've also changed many keys and/or key combinations to events I do use to keys I'm more comfortable with.

I never ever use those menu shortcuts (I didn't even know they existed)...... but I can see the frustration if you're used to using them a lot.
