Changing XPX Screen Resolution

Featured Replies

One of the things that has nagged me and I want to see if it's just on my end. My Native monitor resolution is 1920x1080, but I would like to run Xplane full screen at a lower resolution, but if I choose a lower resolution it will either be black bordered and once I choose the full screen button it defaults back to 1920x1080. Is this normal or must I change my default windows resolution lower?

Same thing happens to me. I think this should be reported to Laminar.

Ok, I can't find anything. Can someone confirm that Full Screen is  tied to your desktop resolution?

Uncheck the "run fullscreen at this resolution" and choose your desired resolution.

Then, use "PseudoFullscreen.ahk" to emulate full-screen ( WIN F11 ) to alternate between your desired resolution and the native resolution of your windows desktop.

It works better with the VC.

I did gain about 10FPS using the stretched window, but it's still not say 1024x768 it just expands my Windowed 1920x1080 and hides the border.
