December 9, 201312 yr Hi all, Ever since I upgrade to 10.25, none of my planes fly right any more because of wind speed that is permanently set at 28 knots, manually setting the wind speed down does nothing. When I went into weather and select reading real weather and update now, the wind still stay at 28 knots. The only plugins that are weather related are the NOAA and SkyMaxx Pro 1.1. Has anyone else seen this? Short of reinstalling (which I do not want to do) what can I do to fix this? Thanks in advance. December 9, 201312 yr I just removed the NOAA plugin and python interface. I was having similar issues even with NOAA turned off, I really am not sure what is going on there but I think somehow the python interface is overriding the weather settings in X-Plane.......
December 9, 201312 yr Author Thanks jspahn, so I am not the one then. That's good to know. However, python drives a bunch of plugin but I guess I have no choice now. Vu Pham i7-13700K 5.2 GHz OC, 64 GB RAM, RTX5090, SSD for Sim, SSD for system. MSFS2020, XP-12, DCS
December 9, 201312 yr Before you get rid of Python try removing the NOAA plugin first I didnt narrow it down myself, plus other plugins like XSB may need to be looked at settings wise to make sure they are not overriding the default weather dialog.....
December 9, 201312 yr As Jspahn said, you just need to remove the NOAA plugin ... you don't need to touch Python. I fly a fair bit in FSE and it uses Python as well. I have however removed the NOAA weather system thingy because it was doing funny things to X-Plane weather ... as you've noted .
December 10, 201312 yr Author Ok I will put back python. I did remove python and NOAA and my high wind problem went away. Thanks Vu Pham i7-13700K 5.2 GHz OC, 64 GB RAM, RTX5090, SSD for Sim, SSD for system. MSFS2020, XP-12, DCS
