Just a quick question - no complaints.

Why is the GPWS in the NGX a lot clearer and pronounced whereas the 777X GPWS sounds recorded in the cockpit? It may sound dumb but the NGX CAWS sounds like pure audio file unlike the 777?

I would think that it sounds recorded because of the ambient cockpit sounds. The 777 sounds are much more realistic than that of the NGX. 

Ok, I was just wondering, but if you look at 777 Cockpit videos it seems to be the same (as the 77LRX). Cockpit videos of the 737 show louder and more precise CAWS recordings. I'm sure it is probably realistic.

Positioning of the Speakers in the 777 (a very large cockpit which you can stand up and walk around between the 3 jumpseats) compared to the 737 (a very small cockpit in which the captain can, at a stretch, touch the cockpit door without getting out of his seat) may have something to do with it.

Both were recorded right at the speaker - not sure why there's a difference, I'd have to ask Armen, he did the processing of the audio.
