December 29, 201312 yr Even though I reduced the cloud detail to 30% and the road traffic to Siberian Winter, my total texture load is still around 1.5 GB in this bird. You can reduce the clouds even further. I usually had 17% with my old 1 GB GPU. Now it runs even faster with SkyMAXX Pro, but only with a new 4 GB GPU. Karsten Schubert

I have a GTX 670 with 2GB, I'll try to reduce the clouds detail even further. When there are no clouds, the frame rate goes way up. All the other options, like buildings, trees, etc. don't have an huge impact on the performance. But the clouds, I am using SkyMaxx Pro in its most current version as well, seem to be very demanding.

December 29, 201312 yr . But the clouds, I am using SkyMaxx Pro in its most current version as well, seem to be very demanding. Well, Sky MAXX Pro needs significantly less computing power, but it demands additional space for its textures. According to you explanation you are simply running out of VRAM.So buildings and trees have no impact since they have to be buffered in the VRAM if there is one or a thousand trees visible. This also increases your performance hit with the 757. Normally its resources hit is really low, with one exception: VRAM. It demands at least a 1 GB graphics card and can consume for itself up to 1,3 GB VRAM.. Karsten Schubert

I've read in the manual that there are alternative textures for the VC, I'll try them to see if this reduces the VRAM usage. Max total texture load was around 1560 MB yesterday. The God Rays seem to have a huge impact on the fps as well, maybe I'll turn them off.
