And yes, I know that some of these can be improved with payware add-ons, but it's a pity that these good features have been lost by default X-Plane. "Society has become so fake that the truth actually bothers people".

December 15, 201312 yr I only tried XP9 once all the development had stopped and I just HATED IT. It seemed soo wonky and outdated that it just boggled my brain that people actually liked it. Truth be told though now that I have gotten used to XPX, I'm curious as to how XP9 would run with some of my newer ACs.
December 15, 201312 yr Author I only started playing 10 a bit ago. You're really saying XP10 has downgraded all of these things from version 9? That's ridiculous! Yes, but there's an explanation. Most of these features were lost because in XP10 the weather/cloud system has been completely rewritten (the old clouds were non-volumetric). The new system clearly needs further improvements. The fog is being worked on given the huge complaints about it. "Society has become so fake that the truth actually bothers people".

Let's say that the new cloud system does not justify its much heavier performance hit, when judged on the base of how it depicts clouds, compared to the old one. "Society has become so fake that the truth actually bothers people".
