December 22, 201312 yr Hi. My name is Raffaele, Italy. I would like to submit my problem with a USB microphone/headset. I have a PCI Media soundcard and a USB headset. FS2crew is working only with the microphone connected with the PCI Media card. I wish that FS2CREW worked with my USB microphone/headset, bu I cannot figure out how to do it, what should be the correct steps I have to do. Can you help me? Thank you Raffaele Raffaele
December 22, 201312 yr Commercial Member Hi Raffaele, FS2Crew should work with your USB headset. In fact we generally recommend using a USB headset due to their simplicity. Make sure you've selected your USB device on the FS2Crew Config Panel. Best, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
December 22, 201312 yr Author I did it. Infact it worked at the beginning... Then something changed... I also perform audio test but the voice comes out from PCI Media sound card. I don't know if I have some sound troubles, dont think so, anyway... I will try again. Raffaele Raffaele

December 23, 201312 yr Commercial Member Have you tried using a different USB headset? Maybe your USB headset is broken. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord

Raffaele, if you are using Windows 7 do the following. Click on the "start" button and select Control Panel. Then go to Ease of Access/Speech Recognition/Advanced Speech Options. Click on the "Advanced" button at the bottom. A box called "Audio Input Settings" will appear. Check that your headset is selected as the audio input device. Click ok. You will then have to click "Apply" or "OK" in the Advanced Speech options box and re-start your PC. If your headset is already selected as the input device then there is another problem, maybe your headset is not working. You can test this in the Advanced Speech Options box. Let us know how you get on. Iain Smith
