I am shocked to hear this and very sad--I don't visit flightsimnetwork often so I don't know the details surrounding his passing, but I have exchanged emails with Rey many months ago and even have the source to one of his projects (his Cessna 310). When I became ill myself, I stopped work on many projects but perhaps the best tribute I can offer Rey is to dust off my work on his 310 and release it.-John

I only knew that Rey was going to be in the hospital for surgery, and just a moment ago got a phone call advising me of his passing.I am deeply saddened that Martha and all of Rey's family have suffered this great sorrow. We have all lost a terrific person, a talented modeler, and a flightsim friend.

Our deepest condolances to those who knew Rey. Rey called a few weeks ago and at the end of our conversation we wished each other the best.....Rey will be missed by the entire FS Community:-(
