I try to do everything to get rid of the fps drop when i "talk" to F/O, but the problem always persists, the fps drop to 3, 4 during 1 second or two. I follow the sugestions on manual, but the same is always happen!

 

Any idea ?

Wild guess:  Ensure any other programs that are running in the background that may be grabbing microphone (like Skype, etc) are off.

All the programs are shutdown when using fsx. Any idea more? It's only when i speak and the text appears up in the screen

Problem:

 

 

I'm experiencing a frame rate drop.

Solution:

1. Ensure your speech recognition language is set up properly. If it's not, your system will grind to a halt.

2. Double check your Sound Card settings. One beta tester cranked his sound card's settings up to 24 bit (192,000) and had some frame rate loss. When

he returned his sound card settings to their default settings - 16 bit (44,000) - his frame rates returned to normal.

 

But the problem persists anyway. I use a headset with micro

If you're speech recognizer is not set to English - US, your frame rate will grind to a halt.  You'd get like 1 fps and the sim would basically freeze up.

 

I still don't have any new ideas.

 

Can you try it with a different headset.

Yep, i have the language set to ENGLISH - US. Yes i have another headset, i'll give it a try,

I figured out that this isn't fs2crew problem!

 

The problem is when the message windows appears with text, is this what is causing the fps drop!

 

How can i erase this window text ? Maybe some line in fsx.cfg ?

You can shut off the "Green Bar" by pressing the "DSP" (Display) button on the FS2Crew Main panel.

That solved the problem! thanks! I don't know why i have fps drop everytime the green bar appears. I figured out that was not fs2crew problem, when i start GSX and the green bar comes up.
