FTX Global 3d lights radius

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Does anyone know if there is a way to extend the radius of the 3d lights in FTX Global; see my screenshots below - the radius of the visible lights just seems far too close.

Is there a setting I have set too low or is this just a limitation of the tech?

thanks

In this shot you can see the airport (UK2000 Edinburgh) illuminated ahead of me - making the gap between the Orbx 3d lights radius and other scenery more noticible

Good question!

Frank

I'd like to know as well. I think its wayy to small. FSX has a higher radius.

I know there's a lot of money in aviation because I put it there.

I believe that all of the FTX Global lights are autogen objects (including the vector street lights). The visible distance for autogen objects are controlled internally, within the FSX scenery engine code. As far as I know, there is not much we can do about it. It's too bad, I wish we could increase the visibility distance!

Cheers,

Gerald
