I downloaded a couple of things from simheaven, the chicago photo scenery and wroclaw scenery, i also downloaded the 7 zip extracter and used it just fine. however, when i went to extract the downloaded OSM_Europe file, after i choose my destination folder and press ok, the 7 zip program says that it cannot open the file as archive. any suggestions as to why this is? i even downloaded it a second time to see if it helped

 

Click over the file with the right mouse button and "Open with" choosing 7zip

 

Then choose Extract and drive 7zip to the destination folder ( Custom Scenery ).

 

Also, 7zip doesn't remember the last chosen folder for extracting.

 

Then, don't forget to edit scenery-packs.ini to give the files the correct order, with Mesh and Photosceneries always last!

Just to mention, I've had lots of trouble with the downloads on this site, sometimes the download just stops and says the file is finished, when there is still 50% remaining. I'm not sure why this is, but seems to happen during the day mostly. Downloads I do at night don't suffer this problem. Also, have a look at the MD5 of the file (listed when you download it) and check it using an MD5 tool for Windows, this will normally show you if the download is corrupt, or if it is something else. In my case, it's always the download
