Night Bugs

Recommended Posts

I just did a test flight from KDEC-KFWA. Taking off to cruise was perfect. Only on landing I noticed some bugs. The weather turned from good to bad in FWA. I was on final approach into KFWA with less then two mile vis. When I landed I noticed that the Left Landing light was not illuminating on the ground and the bottom beacon was not displaying on the ground correct. I just saw a solid light on the ground where it should be flashing. Also when I was turning the lighting for the cabin and I clicked the reading switch, it seem to dim all the lights inside and outside too. Another bug I found was the VSI is displaying half. I noticed this on the B200. I thought they would have fixed this by now, But otherwise it was a good flight.

Yep, I saw those too while I was flying this plane more. I sent them an email about the night bugs, are you having trouble with the pressurization too?

I had a cabin diff in red on the annc. panel in cruise at FL10 straight after a standard climbout at 1500fpm. I had to hit the dump valve to get rid of the warning. I hadn't touched the press. panel as I wasn't going to need it. Is that a bug?

Is there anyway to get into the aircraft config and turn up the intensity on the nav lights.  Cockpit lights are OK but all other lights are a bt soft.  I know there was a way to increase the brightness on the B200 and the 90.  I tried come A2A lighting but the way Carenado does thier lights uit is almost impossible.

@John,

No, but I will do some flights later to check. What is your problem with the pressurization?

Yeah, I have both bleed switchs open, and I set the correct alt in the press panel, I set the switch to the down position or Press position, but it does not pressurize the cabin at all. after about maybe 10 min of flying i get a Cabin Alt warning. I believe this is a bug, in the king air 200 and C90 the pressurization worked fine.

Is there a bug-tracker anywhere or do we just post them here with a good desc of each bug in the title? It seems this may be the only Carenado forum now? Their forum links to this one :smile:

Tbh I can live with this for now

Not sure how many of you guys are using A2A shockwave lighting.  I didn't like the lights either.  I tried to put something together that looked somewhat realistic. This is what I came up with.  It looks pretty good on my computer but I am sure I have different setting that some.  At least a starting point if you need to tweak it.

[LIGHTS]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing
light.0 =  4,  16.3,  0.0,  2.00, fx_vclightcarmnd
light.1 = 10,  12.2, 0.00, 2.00, fx_vclightcarmndpl

light.2 =  4,  5.0,  0.00, 3.00, fx_vclightcarmndpl2
light.3 =  4,  0.5,  0.00, 3.00, fx_vclightcarmndpl2
light.4 =  4, -2.5,  0.00, 3.00, fx_vclightcarmndpl2
light.5 =  4, -5.5,  0.00, 3.00, fx_vclightcarmndpl2
light.6 = 3, -0.980, -27.830, 1.502, fx_shockwave_navred , //Nav Left
light.7 = 3, -0.749, -27.831, 1.472, fx_shockwave_navred , //Nav Left
light.8 = 3, -0.980, 27.830, 1.502, fx_shockwave_navgre , //Nav Right
light.9 = 3, -0.749, 27.831, 1.472, fx_shockwave_navgre , //Nav Right
light.10 = 3, -36.030, 0.000, 10.248, fx_shockwave_navwhi ,//Position Rear
light.11 = 3, -36.030, 0.000, 10.228, fx_shockwave_navwhi ,//Position Rear
light.12 = 6, 22.158, 0.00, -2.000, fx_Shockwave_landing_light_small_xenon // Shockwave
light.13 = 5,  2.258, 10.10, 0.000, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow //shockwave light
light.14 = 5,  2.258, -10.10, 0.000, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow //shockwave light
light.15 = 2, -2.480, -28.950, 2.000, fx_shockwave_strobe_l , //Strobe Left
light.16 = 2, -2.480,  28.950, 2.000, fx_shockwave_strobe_l , //Strobe Right
light.17 = 2, -7.475, 0.00, -2.160, Fx_shockwave_strobe_l , // Shockwave light

[Vcockpit01]

gauge14=shockwave_lights!SW Lights_gear, 1,1,1,1 //shockwave light

I hope it works for some of you.  At least until the turn up the lights in a SP
