SweetFX doesn't work ;-(

Featured Replies

Hey I am using DX10 I somehow did not get any benefits with the shaders don't know it could just be a settings problem somewhere so I am back on DX9.

FXAA has only worked once on my system with CCC 13.12 and I made some changes and after that it has stopped working completely.

I will take your advice on the FXAA and try it hopefully. but later after I reformat :(

Hey which files should I change in Sweetfx for the FXAA to work ? I have the FXAA injector but it does nothing and also an injector which has just four files

Hey my FXAA started working :) .

But the sharpness is not there, I can see just a little of AA applied when I press Pause and Pause. The jagged lines are still there.

I am using the FXAA tool and have removed Swtfx.

I already told you what I know. I can't assist you further as I do not have an AMD gpu. If you want to know how to use sweetfx, just google and you will find all the info you need. It's not feasible that I reply to every one of your questions without you bothering to search for these faqs first. Sorry. Same goes for everyone else, if you don't bother to search around, you won't receive help from me. I'm willing to help those who put adequate effort to help themselves before launching a new thread/post.

Making sfx work correctly is a mix of fsx & your gpu settings. It's complex, that's why I don't have a definite answer to your issues. You'll have to investigate your gpu settings and set fsx + sfx accordingly. It's a trial and error thing, but use common sense. If you want just FXAA, disable AA in your gpu settings fsx profile and disable AA completely on FSX (read more about it in the how-to dx10 guide) and then turn On FXAA in Sweetfx (install the correct dll, google on how-to, it's very easy). If FXAA via SFX doesn't work, which is unlikely, you can try forcing it via your gpu settings.

Aye aye captain
