January 6, 200521 yr Before I updated FS9 to FS9.1 I had imported a file from FS2002 that gave me the previously missing Chesapeake Bay bridge. Trouble is I don't know what file it was! Since I fly out of Baltimore I needed that bridge real bad! Now that I have updated to FS9.1 I have 2 bridges. Apparently the update did not overwrite the other file. Would a scenery guru please show me how I can remove the bridge I don't like? Thanks for your help!Airbus Al Kaupa Digital Storm purchased 8/17/2011; Win7x64: Asus P8P67 Deluxe; Intel i7 2600K@3,9 GHZ; nVidia GTX 560Ti; 8GB DDR3 1600 Corsair Dominator; Power Corsair HX 750W; Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD; 300GB WD VelociRaptor; 1TB Seagate.
January 6, 200521 yr I have the same problem with San Diego's Coronado bridge. I downloaded a file that added that bridge to FS9, then FS9.1 came out and I now have 2 San Diego Coronado bridge's. I would like to get rid of the new default one and keep the one I downloaded because that one looks so much better and is in a more accurate position the the new default one.
January 6, 200521 yr Author Hi Joseph29,you may want to try my selfmade exclude-file to exclude the default FS9.1 Coronado bridge and keep just Robert Kerr's beautiful addon one. Just open the zip-file and put the bgl-file into your Addon Sceneryscenery folder.PeterIntel Mobo D875PBZ with Intel CPU P4 3.20GHz2.0 Gig 333MHz DDR SDRAMAsus / NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 (Omega 1.6177) (Q) (256 MB)Monitor Samsung SyncMaster 19"CH Yoke and PedalsWindows XP SP2
January 7, 200521 yr Bump! Still hoping someone can help me out with the Bay bridge. Thanks!Airbus Al Kaupa Digital Storm purchased 8/17/2011; Win7x64: Asus P8P67 Deluxe; Intel i7 2600K@3,9 GHZ; nVidia GTX 560Ti; 8GB DDR3 1600 Corsair Dominator; Power Corsair HX 750W; Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD; 300GB WD VelociRaptor; 1TB Seagate.
January 7, 200521 yr Author Hi Airbus, try attached exclude file to eliminate the FS9.1 bridge (Put the bgl file in addon sceneryscenery). I do not know if it is that what you want, because you just say you would like to "eliminate the bridge you do not like" without specifying if you mean the addon or the FS9.1 bridge. If you want to eliminate the addon one than I cannot help you, you must find the appropriate file....Hope it helpsPeter
January 8, 200521 yr This may help...Any of the FS2002 bridge bgl's will have a timestamp ending in the year 2001 or earlier (the year of FS2002's release). You may be able to recall the file names if you do a search on the Flight Simulator 9 folder and subfolders, for bgl's between 1/1/2001 and 12/31/2001. You just need to be aware of any other add-ons you've installed that also may be as old, but the FS2002 bridge bgl's will definitely appear in the list if you do this type of search.-John
