DX10 and SLI (inspector settings?)

Featured Replies

hi Gentleman,

I'm using Fsx with steves dx10 fixer and 8xsgss.

I have nice 27-30 fps when there are not much clouds but as you all know when there are a lot of clouds my frames drop down to 14-21 fps.

I'm using rex4 1024 dxt5 clouds.

Since i have a gtx780 sli i'm wondering if there is any posibility to get the sli running for sgss? I know i dont get more frames but i think 2 780 should be able to handle 8xsgss and i hope in this case that even with clouds i will stay at 30 fps.

My System specs:

I5-4760k@ 4.8 ghz

8 gb ram 2666 mhz cl9

Samsung ssd840 250 gb only for fsx

Resolution:5760x1080

Gtx780 sli

Ftx global

Ftx vector

Rex 4

Pmdg777

Inspector settings:

Acording to the latest dx10 guide with 8xsgss and 8x aa in stevesdx10 fixer.

Thx for your input and help

Don't know as I don't use SLI but just wanted to make sure you are aware of the following link where NickN, a former NVidia tech, says SLI does not work in SLI - http://www.simforums.com/forums/nickn-nividia-inspector-sli-settings_topic41980.html.

Hope this helps!

Good morning 331BK,

I wouldn't worry about frame rates as long as you don't have stutters in your video while flying. By that I mean when the video gets choppy and not a fluid motion. Even with my system and what I run I will get a little bit of stuttering in a heavy graphical area like LAX and running a highly graphically airport. As far as any Inspector settings for sli  have none. I run FSX @5910x1080x32. I run 3 - 27"  monitors without a problem and that takes some power to do that. If you like you can click on "my computer" on the side bar or you can click on the blue bar at the end of this comment and actually see my specs in detail. I also run sli through the the Nvidia control panel under the 3-D PHYSX configuration setup. I am in hopes this will help you?
