Why do people do stuff like this?

This morning Rob placed on the PC Aviator Australia Community Forum a similar post to his Starter Post here.

So far, I am the only one who has responded to it there, unlike the reaction here.

My response was consistent with many of the views expressed above.

Rather than "re-invent the wheel", I will merely quote it here:

"Interesting!

My immediate reaction on looking at it was:

* Why?

* The computer's copy and paste facility must be a godsend for the "sameness" character of the comments

* If his opinion of MSE2 is as expressed, do the number of products appearing in the videos mean that he bought over 10 of the products before he formed that opinion? He says in the comments on all except one "I just bought this scenery", Did he buy them in a single purchase and is that a reason why he may have seemingly had a sudden realisation?

It is no secret that I am no apologist for or great fan of photoreal scenery. I have at least 18 MSE2 products but a far greater number of auto-gen scenery products. I believe that there is a time, place and use for photoreal scenery. The same goes for other types of scenery. That is why I have been selective in my purchases of each type of scenery.

However, I could not contemplate that I would express my view in such an emphatic way and expend the time and effort which the exercise would appear to entail."

YouTube comments and YouTube trolls are the worst of the worst on the internet. Ignore all of it if you value your own sanity.
