Just an FYI for you: I use FRAPS with Nvidia. FRAPS has a check box called 'Monitor Aero Desktop' which I believe causes it to do the screen/video grab from the monitor feed rather than from the application. I put my monitor settings to something pretty 'neutral' and did all my contrast, brightness, vibrance and gamma through the Nvidia control panel. That resulted in screen grabs much closer to what I was seeing on the monitor. I'm not 100% sure on this, but even with the method you use to do screen grabs, it might help.

 

@scotchegg: Great screen shots BTW!! Didn't mean to detract from your thread. The more I see of XPX, the more I think about adding it to the sim arsenal. I understand there's some nice enhancements coming in v10.30. Might take the plunge then.
