January 24, 201412 yr This is not a complaint but an observation and I am a curious person. Recently I had a problem with the on/off button on my PC. I was, at that time, shutting my machine down every night before going to bed. One morning I couldn't start my PC and so I contacted my local computer guy and took it in to him. He discovered that while the on/off switch itself was ok, where it was mounted on the case structure had broken and the switch was being pushed back inside the machine. In order that I didn't have to buy a new case with all the hassle that would cause he did a repair using super glue to fix the switch in place. Since then, so as not to use the switch too much, I have not been shutting down but sending my machine to sleep. A useful side effect to this is that if I have not finished a flight when it's time to sleep, I pause the sim and send the machine to sleep. The next day I wake the computer and FSX is exactly where I left it ready to continue. Most add-ons such as Active Sky Next, Radar Contact, AI Smooth, GSX and PMDG's aircraft all go along with this quite happily. The only add-on that doesn't wake up is FS2 Crew. That is in a state where I can hear the odd comment from the FO, such as "switching fuel tank centre pumps" but he cannot hear me. This is not a big deal but I wondered why this was so? Iain Smith

January 25, 201412 yr Author No Bryan, I don't although it works perfectly up to the point of being sent to sleep. Iain

After you wake up your computer from sleep, cycle the Voice button on FS2Crew Main Panel Off and On. Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
