Hi All,

 

I just became really addicted to this sim during this last fall season.. Sunk a lot of money into it, but most through sales, so don't feel too guilty. My question, with other gaming genre's. there seemed to be sales grouped around Holidays.. i.e. Xmas.. Easter.. Summer.. Thanksgiving.. Do FSX addons (the ones that do have sales) kind of follow the same suit?.. Or are they random through the year, and Xmas is the only big sale time?... Of course I'm tempted to get more stuff, but if it is fiscally responsible to be patient, I will try!! lol..

 

 

Black Friday sales, weekend sales, weekly offers, 24h sales, 48h sales, irregular pick&mix sales, deals of the day, customer loyalty schemes, upgrade offers for users of former versions ...

 

Best to bookmark a number of shop/developers' sites , subscribe to their newsletters and check them on a weekly basis.

Thanks.. will do.. lol.. as this is an expensive hobby, even with sales! .. need to keep that credit card damage low.. got two boys entering college soon and I hope to be able to retire in ten years!

There is a sale on at Realair, if you don't have any of their aircraft yet you owe it to yourself to check them out. they are as good as it gets for GA flying

Yes, I grabbed the Real Air Turbine Duke and Lancair Legacy when they were on sale.. awesome add ons.. Also grabbed the Milviz Beech 55.. one of my favorites, even though it is a lil bit of an FPS hog.. but adding non reflective gauges made it flyable and it's one on the top of my list of planes I love to fly...

Grabbed 3 Carenado's during the Xmas sale (only one was a flop for me), but I've been eying the 2088 Grand Caravan..

 

Free airports I grabbed a few.. bought the Orbx NW and Rockies during it's sale.. grabbed 3 airports there.. and then they had like 3 or 4 more freeware airports to download for those regions, so that was really nice. Like I said damage to the CC was high last season, but I tried to save where I could!
