ASN+B77L new user question

Hi Everyone

I have just purchased asn to compliment the PMDG B77L and B73X based on the glowing recommendations I have read around the AVSIM forums.

I was wondering if ASN supports upper airways as some flightplans have up to 60 waypoints and if I have to enter each one it will take forever. I had a quick look when I launched the product for the first time and couldn't see a way to do it. I also looked in the manual and could find no mention of it either.

If I inserted a departure and finish airport, altitude etc in ASN and then put my real world route into the B77L fmc will the correct winds/temps be placed correctly for a given waypoint considering it hasn't been directly entered into ASN?

I also noticed a thread on the developers support page about basically a guestimation of wx in the Australian region rather than real world wx. Is this true, Is there work being doen to fix this? Any information would be appreciated.

Cheers

Barra

Do you use a flight planning software, Barra?  If your flight planning software can save flightplans in PMDG format,  all you need to do is

load the PMDG formatted plan into the T7's FMC on the "CO Route" line and after you are finished entering the Performance Data,  bring up the Legs page and

press LSK 6R ("RTE DATA") and then press the "EXEC" button and all the WX data for each of your waypoints will be automatically entered.  Then

you can go to the FMC's PROG page and see a prediction of remaining fuel quantity at the destination ~:)

We'll likely need someone from HiFi to answer the question about WX in the Australian region.
