February 12, 201412 yr When flying in any phase of fsx the program will minimize down and it will not go back to normal view. I have to control alt delete to quit the program and restart it. How can I avoid this?
February 12, 201412 yr Welcome to AVSIM! Are you running FSX in full screen mode? In that case it sounds like another program (perhaps an antivirus program) opens a window at higher priority than FSX has, which causes FSX to "vanish". You have two options: Either try if ALT+TAB can bring FSX back (or use the Task Manager to switch to the FSX window again), or use the windowed mode of FSX instead. Florian
February 12, 201412 yr I experience this as well but usually on startup. I have AVG antivirus , could that be causing this issue ? Anyone else had similar experience ? February 12, 201412 yr This can be graphics card driver related. (especially if you get a black screen too). Try hitting ALT+ENTER when it happens; see if this brings FSX back up in Windowed mode, then try hitting ALT+ENTER again to restore Full Screen mode.
