Does P3D worth?

Featured Replies

My question is pretty simple, is worth to buy P3D if I already own FSX?

How would it improve my experience?

Thanks in advance.

Can you update your profile with your computer specifications?  What addons do you want?  Check the stickied topic at the top here.

Hi, and sorry about that, I don't come here very often, mainly because almost always I try server is "out of resources"

I have a high end machine.

About if my addons are compatible or not, i think I can care later, first I would like to know if P3D can really give me improvements over FSX.

It gave me significant performance and cosmetic improvements on a mid range rig with a 560ti graphics card.

I currently have and use both FSX and P3D 2.1

If I were you I would hold off on p3d for a few months its currently going through growing pains. There is no doubt in my mind P3D is the future but for the next few months is going to be full of service packs and hot fixes and reinstalls.

Well I just ran a POLL and 50% of the votes said YES!, it will give you improvements. That means 50% of the votes mean NO!, it won't give you improvements. So you are going to have to make the tie-breaking vote to determine if P3D2 will give you improvements over FSX or not. That's a heady challenge and one that carries great responsibilities. The world will be watching to see what your decision is...
