FSX Time local to GMT

hi, for some reason the local tim and the gmt time is off by an hour, the local time was 1415 and the GMT time said 2015, but at that local time the GMT is sapost to be 2115 not 2010. whats going on and can it be fixedpost-276186-0-80555100-1392507841.png?

Actually, local time is off by an hour. I think you can do nothing more than to disregard local time and stick to GMT.

 

The problem lies here:

You can reset the time, local or UTC under the drop down World menu, I believe.

FSX when you start a flight takes local time (saved flight or system) and then applies a timezone correction based on aircraft position to compute GMT.  Once it sets GMT it then will constantly monitor aircraft position and apply the timezone correction continuously.  The timezone correction is hardcoded based on longitude, but can be modified with scenery files.  Give us the aircraft lat/long and I can tell you what the timezone correction should be.

ok, i live in oregon, my flight was in idaho, so the time was actually 1315, and idaho is 1 hour ahead of oregon. so i upped the local time by an hour, 1415.  and it far some reason it did not match my iphone app [my photo on the bottom]
