Remove AI Aircraft from "Select Aircraft" UI

A payware airport added some AI aircraft that are showing up in the "Select Aircraft" menu as shown in the screenshot. Is there a way to remove them? I seem to remember there is a setting in a cfg file that controls what's shown and what isn't.

Thanks.

Aircraft show up in the selection screen when they have a working panel folder.

Rename the panel folder or edit all panel= lines in the aircraft.cfg to point to a non-existent panel folder and they will no longer show up in the plane selection screen.

Joe

+1.

I renamed each "panel" folder of AI addons to "panell" and it works for helis too. They still fly around but don't show up nomo.

Thanks. So no downside to renaming the folder?

Only if another plane has it's panel aliased to the panel you are renaming.

If this was a user aircraft, especially a default, I would recommend you edit the aircraft.cfg.

This may seem like a big task if you have an aircraft folder with a bunch of liveries. Notepad can do a "replace all" making it an easy task (Ctrl+H).

Joe
