"Key File Data Changed"

Featured Replies

I recently got back into flight simming after a long absences. I was able to re-install my level d 767 ok, but going to re-install FS2Crew, the Flight 1 wrapper doesn't want to accept the keyfile or the information Flight 1 sent to me about my past purchases.

Any idea what might have "changed" in the keyfile that's throwing up the error?

Have you tried to reactivate the keyfile?

I have. Could this be caused by moving to a new machine?

It might, the installer looks for the registry entry when the program was first installed if I am not mistaken.  You could try to submit a ticket with Flight1.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help, it's been a while since I've had to re-install F1 software.

No worries, thanks for trying!

Please submit a ticket to Flight1; they handle all wrapper issues.

I have, and am hoping they reply soon. I should clarify that I used all of their automated features since I started the topic; the key I reactivated was the one they sent me in an e-mail. Could this be an issue with an outdated installer?

Well I'm a sucker with poor impulse control, so I bought the voice commander edition, thus sidestepping having to wait for Flight1.

That's one way to keep the flight sim community afloat.

I suppose I owe it to the the community, I've been in it for long enough. For what it's worth, voice commands are ok but rather clunky. I'm guessing that gets better with use.

Please ensure you run the Voice Training.

And it will take some practice.

Cheers,
