Hello!

Im new to Xplane, but seasoned on Vatsim, i'm just wondering what the best software is to get, just to simply get started,

i already have xSquawkbox, and i also have Peters a320, im just wanting to get abit more info about different scenerys.

 

im mainly looking for Heathrow, Leeds, Manchester and some euorpean airports such as malaga.

 

Also i have the xFMC, but theres no AIRAC and i looked on Navigraph and couldnt see it.

ive just been on XPlane and i have a rudder problem.... it keeps wanting to veer off to the left or right on full lock... ive set up my joystick (X52) it does it in every aircraft i fly, when i rudder the opposite way it makes the aircraft go straight but then cant turn other way.....

Xsquawkbox is the one for XPX and Vatsim , for IVAO you can use X-Ivap , If you want AI traffic then get X-ivap and use CSL updater and copy those folders to Xsquawkbox and make AI and situation to minimum 8 and you can move X-ivap after that, that's what I have done.

 

For Sceneries  you should check out the Mesh 2 from alpilotx.net and Photoscenery from Simheaven.com.  you can also check x-plane forum .org and there are loads of airports and buildings and stuff.

 

Use World2xplane for generating brilliant buildings from OSM data.  This from Tony - world2xplane.com still in testing phases but do check it out.  

 

Do get the alpilotx Trees V2 for Europe and the US. All free stuff.

 

The rudder could be a torque bug, just my guess. I think there is a fix to it. Try to keep the settings on Linear and check in the Nullzone.

No need to get x-ivap. Just get the csl updater and point it to the XSquawkbox CSL folder.

I had tried that but I don't think it had updated the CSL folder in Xsquawkbox.

Use NavDatPro from Aerosoft to update XP products and just about everything else!
