January 29, 200521 yr hi allis there a utility out there which records the memory usage of your computer while playing FS, i am currently using the WinXP Task Manager which is quite good, however is there something which records say at 2 min intervals to a doc file or something memory usage.also currently flying the PMDG 737 800 No VC AC running SB Host and the FMC on the other monitor and squawkbox and currently its indicating avail memory is 382meg from 1gig, is this similiar to yours, the reason why im doing this test is because on few occasions ive taken off from point A nice and smooth only to approach and land at destination with horrible frame rates, so it could be a memory leak. January 29, 200521 yr Clayton,The PMDG 737 is a memory resource hog!! Many have complained about it but nothing really can be done. PMDG stated a long time ago that they are going to try to get their 744 to use like 30% less so we will wait and see. You don't have a memory leak...just a memory hog. Eric
January 29, 200521 yr Clayton, if you have a memory leak you should see physical memory slowing and steadily increasing until there is none left. Task manager will show this situation easily. If you are NOT seeing memory use stablizing at some point during a long flight, you may have a leak.Noel Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. January 29, 200521 yr Author yea well its amazing,i had a horrid time landing in klax from a flight from ksea, it was horrible 5fps and very jerky, so anyways i decided to uninstall te whole pmdg aircaft suite and deleted the fs.cfg file and booted fs and the game was magic, it was so smooth, then i installed the 600/700 800/900 one by one, the 600/700 was smooth but as soon as loaded the 800/900 with VC the stutters were back, so i'm thinking its definately this add on with VC, as i dont have any other ac in the ac folder freeware or payware, except the default ones.
