I love beaing part of this site but I have noticed that we have ever topic under the sun about our lovable hobby but not one topic explains how to do a good back with a fast recovery

 

what i mean by fast recovery is you all know that we are always adding things to fsx but as with me we cant always go back for a week or longer just because a new addon messed up fsx

 

does any one here know what is a good fix

Think that most of us use a 3rd party addon to make a back up copy of  our hard drive  to a  external drive.   I use  Acronis true image for my back up  but  there are others  around

Second my PC has been down and it is still down i am just using My  old backup HDD 

 

Thanks Pete  i use Acronis as well But my Question here is since we always ad stuff to FSX this cant be that every time i add an addon i have to run FSX or take the chance of losing every thing Do U understand my Point 

 

The other thing is I have Windows on my SDD  and   fsx on the other SDD  so my Question is how should i do backups to protect me from losing fsx data  if any thing happens   , Just Like the Situation i am in NOW

Use an external USB 2 TB drive for backups... or alternate on several external drives if you want redundancy..

What I am asking is   DO I need to do it in this Order  ( backup Windows on my first SSD  Then Back up FSX on my second SSD ) ??  and when i need to recover   i have to Recovery windows first then recovery FSX   Is this the Correct Method  ????     this is where i am Confused 

 

And Yes I have an Internal 1TB  just for back ups
