I have installed bunches of airports no problem but recently I was looking through my scenery cfg file trying to figure out my issue at KLAS when I realized I actually did not install ORBX PNW. So I went and DL'd the file and installed it. However it didn't automatically install to the scenery area. So I went and added each PNW file that was listed in the ORBX folder once in FSX. Was that the correct thing to do or is scenery installed differently than airports? 

I have the Orbx PNW Demo and it does not show at all in the Addon Scenery folder.  It auto-installs itself and I don't think there is a way to install it manually.

You have to activate Orbx scenery through FTX Central.

 

There should be a shortcut for it on your desktop.

 

Adding them in manually is asking for trouble as you may not get them in the right order.

 

When you add them in with FTX Central I believe other changes are made to the sim also.

After I installed it I got some message saying that it might not have installed correctly. I figured I did install it correctly but in FTX Central it is not listed so perhaps it's not installed correctly and I will delete it out of the scenery library and try it again. 

 

EDIT: So I deleted the files out of the FSX scenery library and re-installed the scenery did not get the error message this time but it does not show up in FTX Central. The other 3 airports I have from ORBX are there so I am thinking something still isn't done right?
