March 30, 201412 yr Hi, How much work is it to make the voice editions run on a 2nd PC? I'm asking because I'm running Fsinn/SB (and thus also my headset) on a 2nd PC for various reasons. Running a voice controlled FS2Crew on main FS PC imposes various challenges and that's why I'm not using them. Is it possible to create a bridge between FS-PC and 2nd PC for voice editions, so only one headset can be used for both FS2Crew and FsInn/SB? March 30, 201412 yr It is not possible because FS2Crew uses a gauge file within FSX to allow it to work. FSX will not run over a network PC. My recommendation if you want to hear the FO over your headset is to attach a line from your "headphones" on your main PC to your "Line-In" on your 2nd PC. This will work as I helped a friend do the same thing. This will send the headset audio from your main PC to your 2nd PC but FS2Crew will still have to run on your Main PC. Hi, Thanks for your answer. Even with FS2Crew using custom gauges in FSX, it still is possible to bridge data to/from a 2nd PC. It requires to develop additional networked/comm-components and I was wondering how much effort that would be. About the headset.. The speakers are not the issue, but the microphone. My headset is connected to the 2nd PC, hence the mic also. Consequently the voice commands end up on the 2nd PC. And wearing 2 headsets is... well.... Yes,you could purchase a USB souncard and run the voice through that, or just plug the mic in Rob Prest
November 10, 201411 yr Even more simple solution (only works with FSInn). Open FSInn on the second computer (main interface). Open Copilot only on the main FSX computer. It will now work across the network. Mark CYYZ
