March 31, 201412 yr When I look outside through the side window of my aircraft, or when I switch to an outside view, it seems that the lower part of the picture isn't keeping up with the upper part of the picture. It like the lower part is dragging along and the picture is distorted, while the upper part gives a perfect view. What can I do to get rid of this annoying distortion of the picture? Cheers! Maarten
April 1, 201412 yr Author If I could I would have, but P3D itself isn't capable of capturing a screenshot and with printscreen the sim is paused while the screenshot is taken and the pictures restores when the sim is paused. It looks like the upper part of the picture is running smooth and the lower part stutters/shocks lightly. It stops, then moves, then stops, then moves, quite fast, with about a millimeter at a time. Cheers! Maarten
April 1, 201412 yr Hi Have you tried 'replay mode' and seeing if the error is still present? Russ Bailey

April 1, 201412 yr Sounds like a sync issue.... Are you locking your framerate.... Or try vsync setting..
April 2, 201412 yr If I could I would have, but P3D itself isn't capable of capturing a screenshot As spirit says, just hit the V key to take a screen shot, just like FSX. gb. YSSY. Win 10, [email protected], Corsair H115i Cooler, RTX 4070Ti, 32GB G.Skill Trident Z F4-3200, Samsung 960 EVO M.2 256GB, ASUS Maximus VIII Ranger, Corsair HX850i 850W, Thermaltake Core X31 Case, Samsung 4K 65" TV.
April 2, 201412 yr Author I'm using v1.4, so far. I know the use of the V-key from FSX, but when I click the V-key in P3D, I only get a message that the program isn't capable of using that function, it has been like that from the start... The frame rate is unlimited in P3D and locked at 30FPS with Inspector. Vsync is active, also in Inspector. I've been looking at it at different altitudes, and I notice that it gets worse when flying low altitude, under 4000tf. It seems to be a slight stutter that is worse at the bottom of the screen than it is on the top of the screen. I can see that the top of the picture also does this slightly, when I fly at the same height as the clouds, as they also show the same stutter, only a little less pronounced, only at the same height in the monitor, the land textures behind those clouds, seem to be moving smooth... Processors are at about 70-80% and Ram is using about 3.45GB, so I should be well below the limits of the system, so I'm not overstressing the system. I had my CFG-file checked online and some fixes were added and Inspector settings should correspond to that. I also tried to lower settings, even though my system isn't close to its limitations, but that doesn't make any difference. Cheers! Maarten
