April 4, 201412 yr Author oh cool, i got a hold of one with the red buttons, i also have the sidewinder USB also (has no force effects) why 2 though? out of curiosity, do these things not last?

April 20, 201412 yr BUT you must buy Force Feedback 2 from Russell Dirks. Thx a ton for this advice! I'm on P3DV2 and had lost all hope I'd get the FF2 to work as it once did in FSX. With Dirk's software it seems to be giving proper force feedback again. IMO there's still nothing like the Sidewinder FF2 yet on the market. I've used it since around the turn of the millenium (on my second unit). i9 9900k - 32 gb RAM @ 3200mhz - 2070 RTX 8gb
