First, thanks for this amazing software!  I'm brand new to FS2 Crew; the Dash-8 is my first foray and am wondering about closing the main panel.

 

I assigned a single key to the "Autofeather (arm/off)" in FSX and using it brings up the main panel but it will not close it.  The manual section "Opening and Closing the Main Panel" seems to imply that the same key should toggle the panel "off," no?

 

Also, I'm able to reposition the main panel window normally by dragging, but is there a way to resize it using the mouse (or in the panel.cfg)?

To close the main panel, it has to be unlocked, by deselecting the "LK" button.

 

I'm not sure that the main panel can be resized.

You can resize them via the panel.cfg, but I don't see the point in doing that.

 

FYI, 'lock' is on by default because in FSX, any time you switch cameras, any 2D panels will auto close, and that can be annoying.  Hence the lock button, to keep the forced open.
