April 2, 201412 yr Hi Bryan, Comparing the NGX I see there are simple things missing with the Q400 which could add to the experience. Runway entry procedure Check with PNF announcing ready for takeoff. Cold weather and deicing procedures. Anything else that can be taken from the NGX which could be used in the Q400. Hopefully you can add these in at some stage. Best regards.
April 2, 201412 yr Commercial Member The Dash 8 Q400 is not a 737NG B) Cold weather is modeled (Level 2 and 3 anti ice), but de-icing I'm saving for later. We modeled one particular airline with the Q400 to the letter as best we could. Its procedures differ from the 737 NG (very different SOPs). The two planes are apples and oranges in a way. Cheers, B.
