Would it be possible for you to discuss with HiFi the possibility of there being a discount for owners of the PMDG 777 who buy the HiFi ASN product so that they can utilise this new weather radar feature?

Oh come on, pay the full price and support our hobby. We want these companies to do well so they will continue to produce great software.

They already offer a discount price for owners of previous AS versions which many people would already own and I think that's sufficient enough.

That's the same as asking PMDG to offer a discount to ASN users when they buy the 777, how likely is that going to happen!

AS offer a discount even for ASE users: That implies you can migrate from FS9 to FSX and still use the ASN upgrade offer.

 

What's even more, ASN includes a "cloud map" like XGauge that works as a 2D popup in every(!) aircraft. It can also be integrated in the VC, if you know how to achieve that (no AS support provided in that respect, though).

 

No need for them at all to offer a discount for PMDG customers.

No. A ton of work went into this from HiFi's end too and they deserve what they're asking for it.
