TOPCAT in beta now for 777

I haven't seen anything about this yet.  FYI you can now download the beta version that supports the 777.

Been out about a week now i think. Was posted here.


System: X-PLANE 11.40, P3D 4.5, ASUS Maximus XI Hero,  Intel i7-8086K o/c to 5.0GHz, Corsair AIO H115i Pro, Corsair Spec Omega Case,Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti 11Gb, Samsung 970 EVO M.2 SSD, 1Tb Samsung 860 EVO SSD, 32Gb Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3200Mhz RAM, EVGA 850+ Gold PSU,Win 10 Pro 64-bit, LG 43UD79 43" 4K IPS Panel., Logitech X56 Hotas Stick and Throttle, Logitech/Saitek Flight Yoke System, Multi, Radio, Switch Panels

So far I have noticed that the N1 ratings can be off by quite a bit in many cases, where the calculated N1 given by TOPCAT is quite a bit higher than what is shown in the sim.

 

The landing data, as talked about in the other thread, still needs some work for sure:

Contrast this with 28R:

I know it isn't as simple as just comparing the two, but it certainly seems to me that AUTO 2 or at least AUTO 3 should work for 28C, just looking at the landing distances for 28R. Even AUTO 1 doesn't seem totally out, but might be a little tight.

 

In any case it is still beta so hopefully it will improve.

Yes plus remember pmdg said that there are some instances where the N1 is too high for some assumed temperature ranges. Should be corrected in sp1
