MCE not working with p3d ver 2.2

Featured Replies

Have you received any feedback from Aerosoft yet, when they will make the new MCE available to customers? Via the simmarket shop account and the Aerosoft support database it is only possible to download an old version from October 2013... Desperately waiting for the new version to be able to use it in P3D2.2...

If I have MCE installed for FSX right now, what is the best way to get it running in P3D v2.2? Re install it or can I just move a file or two?

Thanks,

Mike

If running a version earlier than 2.6.0.0, suggest you upgrade to the latest (which is P3D V2.2 aware), then run the wizard.

If you already installed the latest MCE, and installed P3D after installing our software, you need to perform these 3 steps. That will save you re-installing.

Manually copy "fsInsider.dll" and "fsInsider.ini" from FSx installation folder to \Prepar3D V2\ installation folder.

Manually copy folder <MCE dlls> to \Prepar3D V2\ installation folder.

Run the wizard, without going through speech training.

Thank you for the help. I will try that.

I have installed the latest MCE for P3D but for some reason the loading screen will not go away, yet my co pilot is responding to my prompts. There is no menu screen in the top of the window.

Edit: It finally loaded after what must have been 5 minutes.
