April 20, 201412 yr Ok i'm following tutorial 2 i'm at cruise and following the fmc steps in the guide. I'm typing in L10 and the route offset by 10 nm happy days, but when i go to do it to the right, R10 it doesnt do it just puts the white dotted line on my current path? Also when i do it for between to waypoints and go to the legs page it should say offset like the tutorial but it doesn't am i missing something? Cheers guys Vernon Howells

April 21, 201412 yr Commercial Member R10 it doesnt do it just puts the white dotted line on my current path? You have to clear the offset and hit EXEC before trying to create a new offset. It's not a hugely common thing, so it's not like you're really going to be changing offsets when on an active offset. Also when i do it for between to waypoints and go to the legs page it should say offset like the tutorial but it doesn't am i missing something? My guess is that you're not entering the offset properly, or not following the tutorial to the letter. Try it again, exactly as the tutorial specifies. Since it doesn't tell you to change offsets while on an offset, my guess is that you weren't following it specifically enough and doing what it was asking you to do. May help solve your doubts.
