Aircraft Collision With Non-Existent Object

Featured Replies

Yesterday I was trying some approaches into Queenstown NZ (NZQN), runway 05, and was consistently getting a "building collision" message. It occurs over the last building just short of the runway threshold.  When the screen pauses at the time of the collision, it is clear that nothing is remotely near my aircraft. (I have Orbx Global installed and Vector-- but I've since de-selected everything in Vector for performance reasons).

I was wondering if anyone could do a quick test and verify.

Finally, if confirmed, what is the best way to report this so that it might get fixed down the road. thanks-

I turn off aircraft collision detection to avoid those anomalies.  Have always done so as this happened quite often with FSX too.

I have noticed the exact same problem. Also have FTX Global + Vector + NZQN installed in P3D v 2.2

This always happens on approach to runway 05. Will try turning aircraft collisions off to see if that works.
