I just bought it too. I've never worked with one of these all glass G1000 cockpits and I'm struggling to get on terms with the logic. Also.... even with the GPU connected, my batteries discharge. So by the time I'm ready for start, I don't have enough volts.

Hi Drew,

Same for me too, however the G1000 is really pretty dated as far as i can tell. There are quite a few youtube videos about using it. As you will know the documentation with the Phenom is very poor so have a look on the Web.

 

I don't know any way to get the GPU working correctly unfortunately. I get the feeling that it hasn't been coded correctly and is pretty much just for show. Drop the support team an email, I found that they are very prompt in getting back to you. Let us know how you get on.

If you have FSUIPC paid version, you can extend your battery life.  It's useful for much, much more but that's a feature I used with the Flight1 Mustang which has a similar issue.
