Hi guys,

 

I am completely a new entry either on the forum or the FSX with PMDG. I am using a Toshiba Satellite and here are the specifics:

Intel® Core™ i7-3630QM with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology 2.0

4,096 (1x) MB DDR3 RAM (1,600 MHz)

AMD Radeon™ HD 7670M Graphics (2GB dedicated memory)

This is a gift I've got but unfortunately it comes with Windows 8 and when I launch FSX it works until I select the PMDG 777, crashing straight forward.

I am totally disappointed for it and I would like to know if there is any way to make it work properly.

Can someone, please, help me to shed some light for this problem?

Make sure all the windows updates are done...

We don't support Windows 8 - very clearly stated on the product purchase page for the 777.

 2 for 2 on being wrong today lol...

 

I don't have the product but the NGX was working so I just made an ASSumption

 

For the OP - what you can do is buy Win7 OEM for about 100 USD and install it on your laptop.

Absolutely no problems with PMDG 737 or 777 and Win8, Win8.1 from day one ...

 

Why Win8 is not supported by PMDG, I don't know after one and half year since release.

Win 8 not supported? such a overlook.
