saitek yokes

Featured Replies

I finally decided I was going to buy the Saitek pro yoke system with quadrant and a separate rudder pedals. just about to order when I see comparable with  windows 7 , xp etc but I am running x-plane 10 on my mac( one year old). will these not work with mac and if not what are other people running macs using

I am pretty sure the yoke will and it does show this somewhere on their site.  I have 2 Throttle quadrants with my 27" imac and they work great.

If it's anything like the X52, then it should work fine, the only "non-issue" I found is that the software they provide to program the extra modes doesn't run on Mac OS X. I've had no problems however just plugging it into X-Plane and then setting everything up from there. I've never needed to use the software when I run it on Windows.

I use the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke and two separate Saitek throttle quadrants on Windows 7.  The quadrant that came with the yoke never did work and the two that I ordered seperately connect directly to USB.  I use my old CH Products pedals.  With Windows 7, I have found that the Saitek drivers/software just don't work.  The devices work fine with the standard Windows drivers.

This system also works with FSX, but will not work with P3D.  I don't know why, but the only way I can use P3D is on another computer with a Logitec Pro Joystick.
