  1. May not be all that was fixed, but I reported a bug that the hold short flashing amber lights were not at the correct brightness. Basically, you could not see them.
  2. I think you mean X-Pane org store.
  3. Not sure why it was turned on for the beta, but you can turn it off by deselecting the items you don't want to see on your screen by going up to the top menu > Settings > Data Input and Output. You will see they have been turned on in this menu. Cheers, Brendan
  4. Yeah, that is what I thought, but I waited 15 minutes for all traffic to clear and still no luck. I have sent an email to Ben, so I will see what he says. Brendan
  5. Just curious if anyone else has found that wind/weather changes do not change the active runway? I am wondering if it is just me or a bigger issues? I have been updating some airports in WED and have been struggling with the correct active runways when testing. Brendan
  6. Yeah I asked Ben about this as AI traffic was moving so slow off the runway it causes go arounds. I believe this will speed them up. Brendan
  7. Not saying this is the issue, but in the past I have had trouble with certain scenery libraries. What I found was some which come zipped/compressed end up adding a sub folder (meaning when you unzip you get folder sceneryXYZ - > then inside that folder Scenery XYZ -> before getting to the actual files. Depending how it was coded for x-plane, if you put the top folder in the scenery folder in x-plane you will have issues. You need to go down one level in the uncompressed sub folders and drag that one to the x-plane scenery folder. Brendan
  8. Yes it is cool to use WED. FYI, WED 1.5 is coming soon which will allow some new features for X-Plane 10.5, such as Static Aircraft. Brendan
  9. The only ones I know of can be found at xplane org store. Brendan
  10. Yes, besides ticking this box I found the static aircraft appearing depends on the "number of objects" selection level (which can be find to the left of the tick box). If you select a level too low they seem to not appear.
  11. If you go run the update you will see 10.5 beta is now out.
  12. I believe that EGLL does not have blue taxi lights, only a center line.
  13. I asked Ben also about these errors in an email and he said: But for some of the true authoring errors - e.g. screwed up taxi signs - lots of those :-( - we'll be able to fix them and so will authors, using the gateway.
  14. Ben knows about the error. There is a missing file that will be fixed in beta 7. That should be coming shortly.
  15. I still say Apple has deep pockets for purchases like this. The first version did come out for Apple II under Sublogic as Alan_A noted above.
  16. Greetings Again, So tonight I went and played with this and also noticed issues with the GPS file and the general x-plane nav files. On my iMac I am using the 10.30 beta 2 in a second folder from version 10.25. I had pointed the Navigraph FMS Data Manager to the 10.30 folder. I thought it was updating this folder which it seems to say it is (noting the beta). However, the data in the 10.30 beta folder was staying as cycle 1405. For fun, I opened my 10.25 folder and there was all the data for cycle 1406. So, I think there may be an issue with the installer not playing nice with more than one version of x-plane sitting on the computer or on the desktop in my case. Took me some playing, but I got the files to install and it worked 100%. I can go direct to RISPE. However, if selecting the approach you are only given the start of the approach as an option, but all the points you need will appear.
  17. Another question that may help, did you update the nav data for the X-plane 430 as well as just x-plane. They are different downloads.
  18. You can also get an X-Keys unit that allows you to program anything you want into its flash hardware. http://xkeys.com/xkeys.php
  19. Make sure you have the latest X-Plane 10 Installer too. The one on the discs is out of date, so you need to download that first.
  20. You will find the info for SkyMaxx Pro V2 under Maxx-XP, General Discussion, WIP
  21. I am pretty sure the yoke will and it does show this somewhere on their site. I have 2 Throttle quadrants with my 27" imac and they work great.
  22. As for ATIS, have you tried a stock airport or airports you have downloaded scenery for? There is an odd issue with X-Plane when an airport has more than one ATIS frequency assigned to it. The system appears to not be able to use all frequencies and normally will use the very last one in the list.
  23. PilotEdge is only for a specific area mainly in Southern Cali, so this won't work in Toronto at this point.
  24. Finally Mac users will be able to use PilotEdge with 64bit!. As per their web board see below: We are pleased to announce that the Mac 64-bit X-Plane plugin will be released on the morning of June 10, 2014. This release requires involves an upgrade to a new version of the voice server. As a result, every application which interacts with our voice server will be upgraded and re-released. This includes: - the PilotEdge FS2004/FSX client - the PilotEdge X-Plane plugin for all platforms - the PilotEdge Receiver for Windows - the PilotEdge Receiver for Mac - ATC radar scope software Any attempt to connect to the PilotEdge network on or after June 10 with the existing software will result in a lost communications situation. It's likely that we will disable connections from the existing software to avoid any cases of people flying on the network without a voice server connection. New versions of the application will be posted on the morning of June 10 prior to the opening of the network. Upgrade instructions will be posted for each platform as the date draws closer.
  25. Um, I believe 10.30 is going to address visibility and clouds, it just may not be in the first few betas.
