NO

The new textures look awesome ! Still exploring ! Haven't played with the new GPS yet. The cloud behavior is a lot better ! I am still looking fwd to the fog fixes and the extended visibility !

I'm very interested in any changes to the prop effects.... But I really wouldn't like to install XP10.30 just to find it's the same as before :-/

I need at least yaw to be present in a much more evident way than before, really requiring foot work. I would also like to see less roll due to torque

on most GA aircraft. The default C400, and twins will do for a test, as well as the Cessna.

If someone finds something worth the try regarding this issue, I'll be glad to know!

Thx!

jcomm,

I believe there is much improvement and have tried the above listed aircraft and also the default Baron and King Air, finding the same good results.  Whether they meet your standards, I couldn't say.  I will say however, that once you have done the download, restart your system... don't fly as soon as you download.  I noticed different characteristics after a restart.  I also am seeing higher FRs and probably improvements in the scenery - although I really haven't had that much time with it.  Save your present file and let it update/upgrade all, and I think you will be happy.

Cloud realism is great...  No flashing/jumping..

I'm still looking for the new GPS Option in planemaker!

I haven't been able to get that to work either!

I just loaded up the default 172 to have a play at the new GPS.

There has been no fix to spiraling slip stream ;( Tested the C-172, it requires no right rudder on climb-out. In real life you would need to step on the right rudder to counter act the spiraling slip stream.

I went flying last week and on climb out I took my hands off the yolk and feet off the rudder, and to my surprise the plane rolled to the left. I'm not sure if the plane rolled to the left because of torque or the spiraling slip stream.

Is it just me or do the default clouds look quite a bit better than before?

i'm loving the new clouds!  amazing update and it's only a beta with a lot more features missing.

And all remember this is just a beta, so technically, the final 10.30 is not yet out. ...
